Open Afterglow in Messages
Open a conversation and choose Afterglow from the Messages apps. Both players need compatible installed versions for shared game cards and live rooms.
Try a game first
Choose a game and its Practice option where available. Practice lets you learn the controls before inviting another player. Available games and modes depend on your installed version.
A live room will not connect
Check your internet connection and that both players have compatible versions. Return to the original invitation to reconnect. If the room has expired, create a new game. Include the game name and version when reporting a connection problem.
A Messages card will not open
Confirm Afterglow is installed and enabled in Messages. For beta builds, both players should update through TestFlight. Include what happens when you tap the card and whether the problem affects practice too.
